ARCHITECTURAL MODELS
3D printed architectural models and scale models
A physical model makes proportions, volumes and the setting of a building easier to understand. We turn your 3D model into a visual presentation for an architectural practice, a client meeting or an exhibition.
From buildings to details
We produce building models, spatial concepts, façade elements and details. Before printing, we check whether thin walls, columns and small openings are feasible at your chosen scale. Larger models can be split into assembly sections by arrangement.
PLA, surface finish and scale
PLA is a sensible choice for visual models used indoors. We adjust layer height for curved surfaces and small elements. Fine layers improve the representation of shapes, but the source model still needs sufficiently distinct details.
One colour or selected accents
Models can be printed in one or multiple colours where the geometry and process allow. Colours can highlight volumes, individual buildings or important details. We agree on the appearance, assembly and any finishing in the quote.
Before you order
Which material should I choose for an architectural model?
PLA is a suitable starting point for most visual models used indoors. For very fine details, we also assess SLA printing; unusual conditions may require another material.
Can you print a larger model?
We assess feasibility from the model. By arrangement, a larger model can be split into sections, with joints and assembly agreed in advance.
LET'S DISCUSS YOUR PROJECT
