PRO3D / OUR STORY

It started
with one printer.
And plenty of curiosity.

In 2013, we assembled our first Prusa i2 3D printer. The desire to understand how a digital model becomes a physical product gradually grew into PRO3D.

Those early days were filled with assembly, adjustments and experiments. They laid the foundation for the knowledge we bring to every new project today.

STEP BY STEP

How we got here.

    FROM ASSEMBLY TO PRINTING

    Our first purchased kit.

After our first home-built printer came our first purchased kit. This too had to be assembled, adjusted and understood down to the last screw. Each attempt taught us more about how mechanics, materials and settings affect the finished product.

    MAKING PARTS FOR OTHERS

The first Wanhao. Joining 3D Hubs.

The next step was a commercially manufactured Wanhao i3 printer. In 2016, we joined 3D Hubs, a platform connecting 3D printing providers with customers. Our knowledge now had new tasks: making a part from someone else's model and understanding what they expected of it.

    A GROWING WORKSHOP

    One printer becomes several.

We expanded the workshop with additional Wanhao printers. More machines allowed different projects to run simultaneously, while teaching us the importance of consistent settings, maintenance and organisation.

    LARGER FORMAT

    More room for bigger ideas.

We added larger printers from other brands. This expanded our options for models, enclosures and parts that exceeded the dimensions of smaller machines. Each new printer also brought new experience with materials and model preparation.

    OUR FIRST ONLINE HOME

PRO3D opens its own online shop.

We launched our own online shop, selling 3D printers and filament. It was a period of learning about equipment, materials and users' questions. Today, we apply that experience to our main activities: custom 3D printing and making our own products.

    NEW ORDERS

From a first part to repeatable production.

We began printing larger batches. With these orders, success means more than getting the first part right: consistency matters throughout production. We put even more care into preparation, scheduling and inspecting printed parts.

COLOUR AS PART OF THE PRODUCT

    Our first multicolour 3D print.

Our first multicolour print opened up new options for products whose appearance matters as much as their shape. Colour accents, lettering and different model sections could be created during printing — a useful addition for personalised products and presentation models.

    SLA / RESIN PRINTING

    Detail in resin.

We expanded our service to resin printing. This process cures liquid resin with light, enabling fine details and smooth surfaces. It complemented FDM printing and gave us more options when choosing the right process for each model.

    THE NEXT STEP

    Our first Bambu Lab printer.

Our first Bambu Lab 3D printer arrived in the workshop. It helped us improve our daily workflow and explore new production possibilities. Experience with earlier printer generations remained a valuable foundation for choosing materials and settings.

    PRO3D TODAY

More machines. More options for your project.

Today, several Bambu Lab printers support our work alongside resin-printing technology. We make everything from architectural models and personalised gifts to enclosures, prototypes and functional components. We adapt quantities and production to the task — from a single part to repeat orders.

EXPERIENCE FOR YOUR PRODUCT

First, we listen.
Then, we find the approach.

Our work has taught us that a good product takes more than a file and the press of a button. Its intended use, material, print orientation and the customer's expectations all matter.

That is why we personally review every enquiry. We discuss your needs, suggest suitable technology and make a sample first where appropriate. This is how our experience becomes useful for your specific project.
